How To Find Your Voice With Your Mum Blog

Are you looking to start a mum blog but your unsure of what to focus on? Need some help to find your voice with your Mum blog?

It’s true there are many Mum Bloggers around and that we all blog on similar topics ranging from toddle life, breastfeeding and being a good enough Mum.

However, each mum has their own unique voice and view, to be heard through blogging. This is why I believe even though there are many of us – there is room for all of us in the blogging community.

It’s important for you to find your voice so that you enjoy your writing and promoting of your blog.

Copying someone else’s style and voice will only cause you to grow bored and deflated with your blog. It’s best to stay true to you and your voice.

There are many blog posts around explaining why it’s important for you to find your niche with your mum blog.

They state if you ever want to make money from your mum blog you need to super niche down.

If you have found your niche to write about good work, if not don’t worry.

If you are looking for information on how to niche down your blog this isn’t the post for you, and I’m sure you can find what you need else where!

I believe it’s more important for you to find your voice with your mum blog.

I would never want a Mum not to start their blog because they are having trouble deciding on a niche. I want your voice to be heard Mumma!

When your first starting out it can be difficult to find your niche as your still learning about blogging and practicing your writing skills.

Even if you have a blogger been going a while it can be difficult to niche down.

You’ll see Mummyitsok first started out as a place for me to write about my postpartum depression.

As I recovered I started incorporating posts about Mum life, being a full-time Mum and life with a toddler.

Now I also write about blogging and the online world. I’ve always worked in a job in the e-commerce/online world but I’ve never wrote about it till now as I had other passions at the time.

What I’m trying to say is that as you go through life your passions, interests and beliefs can change so it’s likely the voice of your Mum blog will change with you too.

So how do you find your voice with your mum blog?
