About Me

Hi! I’m Julie

Hi there Mum! Welcome to the blog. I hope you find what you need here in this crazy world of motherhood.

Mummy It’s OK was born out of my journey with postpartum depression. My experience led me to wanting to my story with other mums in the same position.

I often includes articles about the struggles of postpartum life and postpartum depression.

Over the years this blog has grown even more it also now focuses on the following topics

  • postpartum life
  • postpartum mental health
  • self care for mums
  • working mums
I also have a few post here and their about how to start a mum blog. I believe all mums should have a blog as it is amazing as a form of therapy, friendships and as a business.

A little about me : I’m a thirty-something Mum to one little boy. I live in the United Kingdom in a town in the West Midlands.

We have a house and in it lives me, the hubby, little man and our cat. Little Man was born in the July of 2013 -during a 30c heatwave. I’ll never forget the heat that year as it was unusually hot for here in the UK! (you know us Brits talk and relate everything to the weather!)

I also have a full-time job where I work outside of the home Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm and this blog on the side – I must be mad, like I’m not busy enough right?

There’s also an important point about me I’d like you all to know. I was diagnosed with postpartum depression when Little Man was 18 months old.
